Mazda
says that it lost $226 million in the first quartet this year.
Automaker says that it has to cut production, cut research and cut
development spending.Mazda sales were down 45% globally, but
automaker says it have savings that will make them $100 million profit
during second half of the year. "We got off to a good start to
return profibility on an operating basis in the second half," Mazda
Chief Financial Officer Kyoshi Ozaki said at a press conference.
