I thought these gloves would feel heavier, like ring armour, however they appear to figure -- tho' i am unable to get extremely pumped-up regarding attempting to chop myself deliberately, lol. once a recent trip to the ER following a happening with our sharp santoku & a durable sweet potato, my thumb is currently 1/8" shorter & i am the proud owner of those gloves.
